Dr. Susan D. Mertins, Founder and CEO, is an expert in drug discovery and development with over 30 years experience in bench science at the National Cancer Institute/NIH. She holds a use patent for a novel compound with selectivity for renal cancer. In addition, Dr. Mertins was an Assistant Professor at Mount St. Mary’s University where she taught both graduate and undergraduate students in Bioorganic Chemistry, Pharmacology, Bioinformatics, and Experimental Design. For over 5 years, her efforts have been focused on computational modeling and its applications to pharmaceutical undertakings.
